Bishop who barred Kennedy admits he doesnt understand the constitution

Thomas Tobin the bishop who barred Kennedy for his position in congress on abortion rights said in a CNN interview that he cant understand how a Catholic could congressman could vote in violation of church teaching, showing he doesnt have a clue as to what the establishment clause in the constitution is about.

    I could go on at great length why I believe this but I would think the evidence is overwhelming if you just "take a look around".

  4. #4    zip - Thanks for including the link to JFK. The religious conservatives who want to create a 'Christian' nation should be required to read it. The bishop from RI should be required too.

    It's time to get religion out of our political arena. If they keep putting their butts in, take away their tax exemptions. If conservatives want an 'original intent' reading of our Consititution, give it to them on this issue.
