Official US Air Force Document Reveals the True Intentions Behind the US-Colombia Military Agreement

But the US Air Force document, dated May 2009, confirms that the concerns of South American nations have been right on target. The document exposes that the true intentions behind the agreement are to enable the US to engage in “full spectrum military operations in a critical sub-region of our hemisphere where security and stability is under constant threat from narcotics funded terrorist insurgencies…and anti-US governments…”

  1. #1    The article doesn't seem to link to the Air Force document, so here it is:

    http://www.centrodealerta.org/documentos_desclasificados/original_in_english_air_for.pdf

The key quote is on the 217th page of the PDF in box 10 and then is elaborated in considerable detail over the next few pages.

  2. #2    The dumbasses in the Air Force misspell Colombia (some "strategic partnership," right?) on the 217th page, and here(Page 219):

CURRENT SITUATION: Access to Columbia will further its strategic partnership with
the United States. The strong security cooperation relationship also offers an
opportunity for conducting full spectrum operations **throughout South America** to
include mitigating the Counternarcotics capability. Palanquero is unquestionably
the best site for investing in infrastructure development within Columbia.

I put asterisks around the location in which the military jingoists plan to conduct "full spectrum operations." Be afraid Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia. Be VERY afraid!

  3. #3    But, of course, only 'paranoids' ever suggest that there could be a problem with Obama/New Dem foreign policy...
