Dennis Kucinich: Why I Voted NO

This health care bill continues the redistribution of wealth to Wall Street at the expense of America's manufacturing and service economies which suffer from costs other countries do not have to bear, especially the cost of health care. America continues to stand out among all industrialized nations for its privatized health care system. As a result, we are less competitive in steel, automotive, aerospace and shipping while other countries subsidize their exports in these areas through socializing the cost of health care.

  1. #1    One of the very few in DC with integrity

  2. #2    He has no integrity. He was the one who apparently, under pressure from Pelosi, helped pull the vote on Single Payer. He's just another creep who takes his marching orders from the bosses.

If he's not, let him prove it. Let him leave the Democratic Party.

  3. #3    I sure am glad that the Grand Wazoo of Integrity has enlightened us as to Kucinich's fallen status.

  4. #4    There were two different Single Payer amendments on the table, Epppie. Weiner pulled his national Single Payer amendment. I would have preferred to see a vote, but the idea was to keep up the pressure for the amendment allowing states to enact Single Payer. The latter amendment had passed in committee and should have been in the final bill.

But the state-level Single Payer amendment was removed by Neocon Nancy, overruling the majority of votes in the committee, with no Democratic process whatsoever.

The Democratic Party has left Dennis, and perhaps he should leave it, but I do not blame Dennis for Neocon Nancy's misrule.

  5. #5    Right now, I would have to go along with Mr. K. He may be a creep, but he is the least of the rest. I have not seen his creepy ways yet. But if they are/were there I am sure he would have shown them by now. I don't see him in the corporate pocketbook yet, like ALL of the rest of them are. I like his voting record.

SOOOOOO, Mr. K. I am with you!

PS: I don't think anyone is going to find a virgin mary (excuse the pun) politician. Just one with SOME integrity, right now, is good enough for me.

I think, like you said Mike, Dennis may have to find another party. B/C the Dems are making him look bad.

  7. #7    Kucinich doesn't seem to understand team play and wants it his way or not at all. Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, it was Republicans whining the same way. Time to grow up and work with other Dems.

  8. #8    Your comment #7 is utterly evil MarkH, as are most of the Dimocraps and Rethugs.
