Leaked report reveals dozens of Congressmembers under investigation

Internal investigations into the conduct of several House members have been exposed in an extraordinary, Internet-era breach of security involving the secretive process by which Congress polices lawmaker ethics. 1. #1    These are the people you idiots want to put in charge of our nations health care!?! What do you expect is going to happen when politicians have such influence over what should be private businesses? They use their influence to get what they want. Democrats trust these politicians with our banks, democrats trust these politicians with the car companies, democrats trust these politicians with health care. This is just the tip of the ice burgh.

The democrats refuse to investigate Dodd and Conrad: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1009/28531.html

  2. #2    The report included this little line: "...nearly half the members of the House Appropriations defense subcommittee were under scrutiny". No doubt our war for profit congress critters had nothing to do with all these troop surges or the expansion of conflict all over the world. I say we hang them all or put them all in flack jackets and drop them into Somalia for life.

  5. #5    The largest corporations and richest individuals in the US make multi-million dollar contributions to members of Congress on a daily basis. The Congresspersons who receive these "donations" can take them for personal use at the end of their careers if they do not use them beforehand to get re-elected. These same politicians conjure up legislation that puts billions back into the hands of the same corporations and individuals that gave them campaign contributions. All this is legal...legalized bribery that is. And this committee is worried about a few politicians who MAY have been unethical? And it just so happens that these same politicians are the most progressive Democrats in...
