Hannity Hardly Hides His Conservative Agenda. Will FOX Concede Its Conservative Slant, Too?

His radio work may be separate from his TV appearances, but Sean Hannity's politics remain the same throughout, so is it only a matter of time before Murdoch finally admits the conservative bias in FOX News? Probably not.

Lou Dobbs Tells O'Reilly: I'm Staying "In Public Arena," CNN Didn't Want Me In Obama Era

Lou Dobbs guaranteed Bill O'Reilly Monday that he is going to "remain in the public arena," and suggested that the only factor that made his brand of "advocacy journalism" unacceptable at CNN was the arrival of the Obama administration into power. In an appearance on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" set to air Monday night, O'Reilly welcomed Dobbs — who he described as "recently emancipated" — for his first cable news appearance since resigning from CNN last week. "Now, there's been speculation you might run for the Senate in New Jersey. Is that on your mind?" O'Reilly asked. "A lot of things are on my mind," Dobbs responded. "I'm not going to be coy about this....I'm thinking — my wife and I are thinking about a lot of opportunities. I'm very blessed to have a lot of opportunities. I can guarantee you 100 percent I'm going to remain in the public arena. These issues that matter so much to me, many of the same that matter to you, are not changing. What is immutable here is, I'm going to remain in the public arena."

Liberals cry ‘unfair’ after Fox orders unbalanced YouTube purge | Raw Story

Liberal bloggers are accusing Fox News of launching an Internet war against them in a campaign to selectively remove Fox clips from YouTube. On Wednesday, YouTube shut down the popular News1News channel, which featured news clips that many progressive bloggers and news sites would add to their stories. On the rare occasion, Raw Story also embedded News1News clips in stories having to do with media coverage. The channel provided clips from all news networks, but often focused on Fox's controversial commentators. The decision to shut down News1News came after Fox News issued 150 take-down notices to the channel, which they are entitled to do under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, reports Adrian Chen at Gawker. YouTube's policy is to shut down any accounts that receive three or more take-down notices, so News1News was immediately pulled offline. But Fox News' move appears to be limited to News1News, while other YouTube channels -- those viewed as having conservative leanings -- remain untouched.

Fox News is Going Down - MAJOR Bust by Daily Show UPDATEDx2

“The Daily Show,” which has become one of the media’s prime monitors when it comes to calling out misuse or manipulation of video, caught the Fox News Channel and one of its hosts, Sean Hannity, Tuesday night, in what appeared to be a blatant example of doctoring a report with inappropriate video to enhance an argument. Jon Stewart, the host of “The Daily Show,” presented excerpts from a segment of Mr. Hannity’s show in which he discussed the so-called tea party protests in Congress last Thursday with Representative Michele Bachmann, a Republican from Minnesota who had urged supporters to turn up at the Capitol to protest the health care bill. [Note: ROFLMAO!!!!!!!]

FoxNews blasts Obama for wearing suit to plant tree?

Last week President Obama planted a tree in the White House North Lawn. The tree planting ceremony lasted all of five minutes and was sparsely covered, if at all, by the mainstream media. In fact, there was no more than ten reporters in attendance. Yet the same ceremony that barely registered not even so much as a blip on other news casts, has been exhaustively covered for five consecutive days by the only network brave and honest enough to report the truth- FoxNews. Much of FoxNews’ coverage has focused on claims that the tree would lead to the spread of communism, and on questions surrounding Obama’s choice of wardrobe and gardening tools.

O’Reilly Goes After Sesame Street: ‘We May Have To Ambush Oscar’

During an episode of Sesame Street that was originally broadcast two years ago, a character tells Oscar the Grouch, who happens to be reporting for “GNN” (Grouchy News Network), that she is switching her news viewing loyalties to “Pox News,” adding, “Now there is a trashy news show.”Right winger Andrew Breitbart’s “Big Hollywood” blog took on the Sesame Street menace this week proclaiming: “Add one more soldier to the Left’s war on Fox News: Oscar the Grouch”:"If Mom and Dad watch cable news, it’s better than 50/50 they watch “POX News.” So what gives? PBS — a network partially funded with my tax dollars — has the right to tell my kids that their parents watch “trashy” news? The message is clear, I can’t even sit my kids in front of “Sesame Street” without having to worry about the Left attempting to undermine my authority. Media Matters’ Simon Maloy notes, “It looks like Andrew Breitbart’s BigHollywood.com is looking to dethrone NewsBusters as the premiere source for asinine right-wing media criticism” by documenting “the absurd liberal bias in an episode of Sesame Street that aired two years ago. Just let that sink in for a moment…”

Oh Bummer: Lieberman to Hype the Fort Hood Shootings With Senate "Domestic Terrorism" Probe

Joe Lieberman echos Rahm Emanual..... "Never let a serious crisis go to waste." "A couple of years ago, after a two-year investigation, my committee put out a report that said the new face of terrorism in America would not just be the attacks as 9/11 organized abroad and sending people in here, it would be people within this country, homegrown terrorists, self-radicalized, often over the Internet, going to jihadist websites, and there's concern from what we know now about Hasan that, in fact, that's exactly what he was, a self-radicalized home grown terrorist," - Lieberman 11/8/09 The Lieberman spin will of course go beyond 'Muslim extremists' to any patriotic American who dares to question the lies and the illegal wars of profit by the corrupt US administration, Congress and the military. Our first and second amendment rights will be under attack....again. http://kennysideshow.blogspot.com/2009/11/dual-citizen-joe-lieberman-to-hype-fort.html

Troops On Tv: Is Fox News Working For Israel Against America? by Gorden Duff

Fox News is using retired military officers surrounded by uniformed active duty troops in an attempt to derail debate on disengagement in Afghanistan. After 8 years, the US is heading the same way Russia did, the more troops we send, the more die. Absolutely nothing has been accomplished in 8 years in Afghanistan other than to start a major war in Pakistan too. I understand Fox News. They are controlled by the powerful Israeli spokeman, Rupert Murdoch. Israel wants this war to go on forever. Though Murdoch now is an American citizen, it doesn't seem to have "taken." What is good for Israel isn't always good for the US. Active duty military who try to make their own foreign policy are not just total morons but are in violation of a number of laws. They are technically at war with the United States of America. If it is necessary for veterans to take up weapons to fight against members of our military who are part of an insurrection run by a foreign power, tell me where to sign up. To the former officers, always quick to take a payoff from a defense contractor or the Bush Pentagon as a "pundit," reading from whatever script Karl Rove has written for the day, you dishonor yourselves, your oath and the United States. The oath I remember was:---

Fox News Channel has three times the viewers of CNN during prime-time news programming. But that viewership is counted in mere hundreds of thousands. So what are the tens of millions of people who are NOT watching any prime-time news doing?

Conservative Foghorns Bemoan Support for Public Option

All along the way in the healthcare debate one fact has rung true poll after poll. Americans, while not being so sure about all the aspects of healthcare reform overwhelmingly support the Public Option. More evidence of that overwhelming support came out yesterday as I detailed in this diary . So what do the foghorns in the Conservative media do?? Do they admit that they are wrong, and that the American public wants a Public Option to compete with insurers and keep costs down??

Increasingly

While the stereotype of the male breadwinner is still alive and well in many people’s minds, the reality is that a growing number of women are earning more than their husbands.
