You do know that reconciliation is just being used to change a few of the numbers? The end result is amazingly close to the Senate bill.

No Public Option. No Single Payer. Costs working and retired Americans a trillion dollars, 90% of which is a gift to the health mafia.

You got a ticket. That's not a guilty verdict, unless you ignore it or waive it, it's a summons to court. Sounds like you need a lawyer to talk for you since you are already so confused and angry you will only make it worse.

We spend and awful lot to keep people behind bars. Depending on the state and the jail it costs anwhere from $40,000 to $100,000 a year to incarcerate 1 person. In 2008 we paid $55,000,000,000 to Keep people behind bars. The majority of them were in for minor drug offenses.The Criminal Justice Industry is clearly broke.

Then there is the War on Drugs. Another collossal failure. That costs us at least $20,000,000,000 more each and every year.

As to a link, a Google search found the Truthout article, "Mercenaries Circling Haiti" (http://www.truthout.org/mercenaries-circling-haiti57337), which doesn't mention current mercenaries actually "on the ground" in Haiti, but there are clearly a lot of "wannabes" who "want to be!"

The war on drugs is what's wrong with the war on drugs. Locking people up for voluntary private contracts (buying and selling), or locking up addicts who should be getting medical treatment instead is immoral. Bothering anyone for pot for any reason while tobacco is legal is an outrage. There should be no criminal consequences for selling or using any form of cocaine, crack or powder. The question of drugs in our society cannot be addressed by prohibition and draconian punishment.
